Josh + Taylor

As soon as I found out that Josh proposed to Taylor, I knew we had to do engagement photos in the park. Taylor used to be my daughters daycare teacher, and has a heart of actual GOLD. Josh used to stop by the daycare to say hi to Taylor and quickly became all of the kids favorite visitor. I hadn’t met him until this shoot, but somehow I felt like I knew who he was through all the stories my daughter had told me about him.

Taylor and Josh have had a heck of a summer/fall, full of challenges, loss, and and a heck ton of sadness. My hope in offering to take them into Glacier park for some engagement photos, was to lighten the load and give them a day to soak up their love for one another. I wanted to give them a gallery to lift their spirits and remind them that there is always a rainbow after the storm.

I had so much fun driving around with the two of them, (mostly kidnapping Josh against his will, even though he was a trooper). It didn’t take long for them to loosen up, and it was easy to see how much they love each other. It takes a strong relationship to navigate the season that these two have been in, and its obvious how they have made it through. Pure love.

I cannot wait to be part of their big day to see them formally say I do to each other and finalize this chapter. Cheers to the future you two! And Congratulations on finding your true soul mate!
